SoftMind started on 1.1.1997 with the aim of providing businesses with client/server windows based applications running on multiple platforms. Right from the start, applications were built on SQL RDBMS for the enterprise and small/medium size businesses with the technology and technical expertise to build user-friendly and robust applications in various industries.

SoftMind applications are built to scale from single user to multiple branches. With our fourth generation of replication tools, built on top of the market leaders in the mobile and replication technology, we are providing a wide range of clients with the possibility to grow from a single machine to a local network and eventually to a distributed business with multiple locations, using the same application and with almost no database management know-how.

In 1999 SoftMind won the very first "Best Locally Developed Software" PCA Award.

In 2003, SoftMind was acquired by SoftMind Software Development, Vienna-Austria in the objective to reach new markets in Europe and the Middle East.
